I’m proud to welcome you to The Howitzer & Buzz-Saw Show, a podcast done by 2 good friends (and future sports anchoring stars), George “The Howitzer” Gerbo and Mike “The Buzz-Saw” Asti. As someone who’s devoured any type of sports info I could get a hold of since I was kid, I’ve seen and heard my share of great sport commentators. I’m glad to say that Gerbo & Asti are the first future great ones that I know personally. It doesn’t hurt that I’ve been on their show 4 times either. As soon as a new episode is posted of The HBS, you can find it here on TricycleOffense.com.

It’s been awhile, but Mike “the Buzz-saw” Asti and George “the Howitzer” Gerbo will never leave your side. On the heels of an HBS vacation, your favorite sports geniuses are back and ready to rant away at all the asininity that has gone on since the last time their voices graced the radio waves. A three-year-long prediction and bandwagon by the Buzz-saw has come true. With eye rolling and laughter from the Howitzer at a premium, Mike’s level of unbearable arrogance has now been turned up a notch (some didn’t think that was even possible). A conference final recap and preview of the fight for Lord Stanley’s Cup will highlight the program. Moving from the rink to the hardwood, how will things change when Miami’s Big Two adds a third wheel again? Can the return of Chris Bosh actually hurt the soaring Heat? Do the Celtics have one last run left in them? Can Boston beat up their little brother in one final heavyweight bought? Will Oklahoma City be able to grab the torch from the unwilling Spurs? Following a discussion of who is still standing in the NBA, Mike has a special buzzsawing session in store for a franchise that went fishing weeks ago. A brief baseball update will also be on the docket. Expect the terms, idiots, morons, buffoons, and of course the always popular, ASININE to be used frequently. The Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show: the least asinine podcast around. And the only show that conquers sports radio, one day at a time….
